Australian father and daughter, John and Madeleine Rochecouste have launched a world-first lithium battery-powered portable coffee machine, aptly named NowPresso.
The one button machine can be used with Nespresso capsules or the user’s personal coffee blend using the SealPod stainless steel reusable capsules.
Shaped as a thermoflask, NowPresso is light wegith and can take boiling water or cold water to make traditional coffee recipes or iced coffee.
Founder, John Rochecouste said, in the space of only a few months, overseas demand has been very positive. “Through our successful crowd-funding efforts on Kickstarter and Indiegogo, NowPresso has become the most successful portable coffee machines to be launched on these platforms.
“We have thousands of NowPresso in the pipeline for the US, Asia and Australian market. Madeleine and I are confident that NowPresso will be a ‘must-have’ item for coffee lovers around the world including people who often travel for business or pleasure, go camping or simply don’t have time or cannot find a decent coffee.
