Samsung Electronics Australia has promoted Garry McGregor from sales director to vice president of IT and mobile. He held the sales director position for four years. In his new role, McGregor will lead Samsung Australia’s IT and mobile division, which includes smartphones, wearables and services like Samsung Pay.

“It is an honour to take on this position at such an incredibly exciting time as our mobile hardware and services continue to open new opportunities for our customers and partners alike. Our Galaxy S9 and S9+ and mobile payments platform Samsung Pay, are just two examples of how we continue to deliver amazing mobile experiences to Australians,” McGregor said.
