For Braun kitchen appliances.

De’Longhi has won two design awards in the US for its Braun MultiQuick 9 hand blender and BrewSense coffee makers. The awards are presented by the Chicago Athenaeum Museum of Architecture and Design in cooperation with the European Centre for Architecture, Art, Design and Urban Studies that recognizes the work of thousands of designers and manufacturers worldwide.

“We are honored to have won both of these prestigious awards and pride ourselves on incorporating the heritage of the Braun design principles in all of our products,” De’Longhi North America, president and CEO, Mike Prager said. “These accolades underscore Braun’s dedication to bringing innovation and great designed products into homes and kitchens where cooks conquer the expected every day. We are excited to add these awards to the number of other accolades Braun has received worldwide.”

Both awards showcase design aesthetics, inventive technology and user benefits. The MultiQuick9 hand blender has been ergonomically engineered to give users the best results in the kitchen, and is described as a “game-changing kitchen appliance that lets any cook easily express their culinary vision.” It won ‘Best in Category for Countertop Food Prep Appliances’ and the ‘Bronze Best of the Best’ among the 11 category winners. The Braun BrewSense coffee makers with glass carafe and the Braun BrewSense coffee maker with thermal carafe won in the Household Category. Simply designed for a polished aesthetic these feature a premium LED display and easy-to-read buttons with a smaller footprint and lower profile in sleek stainless steel and black finishes. Braun, which claims to be #1 global brand for hand blenders, developed the first-hand blender with Smart Speed technology, a simple and intuitive speed control to enhance possibilities in creative cooking.
