Australia Post is partnering with Australian small businesses to help other small businesses bolster their operations, with easier access to social media advertising, customised packaging and temporary staffing.

The initial three partnerships will connect small business owners from media advertising specialist Tiger Pistol, design and print technology by Spawnit, and labour hire agency WorkFast.

Australia Post general manager small business, Rebecca Burrows, said Australia Post is working with innovative small business partners to design the new services.

“Together with media advertising agency Tiger Pistol, we’ve created Social AdMate to help businesses grow through clever and relevant social media advertising packages. We’ve drawn on print technology company Spawnit to provide access to custom packaging products with a new service, BrandWrapped, and Workfast can source temporary employees for businesses during their busiest periods.

“We already help Australian small businesses connect with their customers and community, so it’s a natural step to connect them to other small business specialists. By being able to co-create new services with innovators, we hope to remove barriers to a range of expert services and see our small business community thrive,” Burrows said.

Tiger Pistol fo-founder and CCO, Troy Townsend said its partnership with Australia Post allows small businesses to access best practice Facebook ad solutions specific to their individual business needs. According to WorkFast director, Tim Nieuwenhuis it can be challenging to manage staff holidays and unforeseen spikes in business, “so we’re working with Australia Post to make finding skilled, affordable, accessible, and reliable additional staff easier”.
