Yusuke Mizoguchi heads to Europe.

Canon Oceania has a new managing director, Akira ‘Dave’ Yoshida, who brings more than two decades of global experience at Canon with roles in the US and Canada.  He was most recently general manager of laser printing at Canon headquarters in Japan and moves into his new position here in April. Yoshida takes over from Yusuke Mizoguchi (pictured) who, after three years as MD for Canon Oceania, has been promoted to a new role at Canon Europe.

During his tenure Mizoguchi was instrumental in leading Canon’s diversification strategy, driving the company to broaden its service offering, focusing on the significant acquisitions of Harbour IT and Converga. He also implemented several community and sustainability initiatives, including the Inspiring Tomorrow grants program and the move to Canon’s new green sustainable headquarters.
