Using Amazon Alexa Skill.
Logitech has launched Amazon Alexa Skill that uses voice control of the home entertainment experience using any Logitech Harmony hub-based product with an Alexa-enabled device such as Amazon Echo, Echo Dot or Echo Plus.
Users can power on and off Harmony Activities, hands free, using only voice control to start or stop entertainment devices or favourite channels.
With Harmony Activities, different actions can be combined to control more than 275,000 devices, bringing an entire scene to life. For example, with a Good Morning Activity, turning on the TV to watch a favourite morning show can be done with one voice command to Alexa. Additionally, directly changing the channel, turning the volume up or down, or changing to a favourite channel such as CNN is achieved by just using voice. These updates are delivered free and over the air to remotes.
