With new kettle.

Smeg has expanded its small appliance range with the introduction of its first variable temperature kettle that retains the same 50s retro-style lines as the Smeg stand mixer, toasters, blender and espresso coffee machine, and in the same eight colours pastel pink, blue, green, red, black, panna, white and polished stainless steel.

Designed in Italy, it has a 1.7 litre capacity and seven pre-set temperatures for all types of tea including green, white, chamomile, herbal and black. Other features include a 360 degree swivel base with non-slip feet and cord storage, a soft open lid, lime scale filter and 20-minute keep warm option.

The kettle has been launched in response to research that revealed almost half (42%) of Australians drink tea on a regular basis and a kettle that can be pre-set to the correct temperature for their chosen tea is now an essential.

The Smeg KLF04 variable temperature kettle is available nationally from department stores and selected electrical retailers for an RRP of $259.
