While they do Christmas shopping.

Sony Australia is offering consumers the chance to borrow a pair of WH-1000XM2 noise cancelling headphones as they shop at Westfield Chatswood.

From Thursday 14 December to Sunday 17 December, visitors to the centre can pick up a pair of Sony WH-1000XM2 headphones from the Sony team then browse for Christmas presents listening to music or just using the noise-cancelling technology to tune out. Once their shopping is done, they return their headsets to Centre Court on their way out.

Combined with unique Ambient Sound control and a touch-controlled Quick Attention mode, shoppers can tune into important store announcements or talk to cashiers without taking them off.

The companion Headphones Connect app utilises the connected mobile device’s accelerometer to detect activity and adjust music and sound settings to best suit the environment. Other features include Atmospheric Pressure Optimising technology that analyses surrounding atmospheric pressure and improves the noise cancelling performance accordingly.

Trial pairs of Sony WH-1000XM2 headphones will be available on a first come, first served basis from the Sony activation area in Westfield Chatswood during the centre’s opening hours. Shoppers must provide valid ID to Sony staff in order to borrow a pair, returning them as they leave the centre. Sony’s WH-1000XM2 headphones are also available to purchase from the Sony Kiosk at Westfield Chatswood, and online.
