For two more years.

Betta Home Living will continue to be the major sponsor of the Brisbane Heat cricket team for a further two years after this season, making it the longest running club major sponsor in the history of the Big Bash League (BBL).

Betta Home Living CEO, Graeme Cunningham expressed excitement at extending the sponsorship. “We are just as excited now as we were when we first signed on. To learn that we will become the longest standing partner in the league with this extension highlights just how wonderful the relationship has been.

“We are also extremely pleased to be involved for the very first time with the WBBL Heat team this season. Good luck to both squads for the upcoming season,” Cunningham said.

Heat general manager Andrew McShea said the club was delighted to continue the partnership with Betta and thanked the company for their commitment to the Heat and the BBL.

“We have worked closely to make this a strong and supportive partnership and being able to extend their commitment through to seven years with us is a proud achievement,” he said.

“We have integrated Betta into the successful WBBL Heat this season, having their presence on the helmets and playing apparel and are looking forward to generating more exposure for Betta Home Living during the summer,” he added.

The BBL Heat opens their season on Wednesday 20 December at the Gabba against the Melbourne Stars. As well as the Stars, the Gabba will host the Sydney Thunder, defending champions Perth Scorchers, Hobart Hurricanes and the Melbourne Renegades these holidays.
