OtterBox that’s who.

Consumer electronics accessory company OtterBox chose Taronga Park Zoo in Sydney to unveil its latest series of cases for the iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus and iPhone X. The new smartphone cases give added protection against shocks, drops and scratches and are also compatible with the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus.

Speaking at the launch, Otter Products, APAC head of marketing, Sean Murphy explained the reason for the location and its link to the company name, which came about when the US founder was on vacation and spotted these playful marine mammals and the OtterBox was born.

“OtterBox has protected every generation of iPhones since 2007 and we consider ourselves an industry leader,” Murphy said.
