Same-day and three-hour rush options.
JB Hi-Fi has just launched two new delivery options, same-day courier delivery and three-hour rush, for its online customers in Australia ahead of Amazon’s launch and the busy Christmas period. Customers are still able to select standard delivery (4 to 10 days) and express delivery (1 to 2 days).
Customers who order an eligible product for a courier delivery will receive their goods on the same day if the order is placed before 1pm Monday to Friday or the next business day if the order is placed after 1pm. The courier service, which is available to customers living in Melbourne, Sydney, Canberra, Brisbane, Perth and Adelaide, costs $9.99 is not available on weekends or public holidays.
Alternatively, the three-hour rushed courier service is available to city and city fringe customers in the aforementioned cities. Orders are only eligible for this service between 8am and 2pm Monday to Friday and the cost is $14.99.
If customers do not see these delivery options at check-out, JB Hi-Fi says it could be due to several factors including delivery location postcode, the available and location of the items and order size.
