Distribution and pricing confirmed.

Samsung Electronics Australia has confirmed distribution and pricing for the Australian launch of its all-in-one washing machine, FlexWash, which first made its debut at CES in Las Vegas in January. The machine is available now from Harvey Norman, The Good Guys and selected major retailers for an RRP of $3,499.

Offering a total laundry capacity of up to 18.5kg with a 2.5kg top loader and 16kg front loader, the Wi-Fi enabled FlexWash allows consumers to wash two separate loads at once. Furthermore, the front loader also offers the ability to add items during the wash with Samsung’s AddWash door.

Samsung Electronics Australia director of home appliances, Jeremy Senior commented, “FlexWash combines the benefits of having two separate washing machines with both a front and top loader in a beautiful all-in-one design. It will help Australian households manage their separate laundry loads and help save them time with the ability to run two wash cycles at the same time.”

“FlexWash Wi-Fi connectivity also allows people to monitor and control their machine remotely via their compatible smartphone, smartwatch or wearable, or even the Samsung Family Hub refrigerator,” Senior added.

FlexWash uses three key Samsung laundry technologies including Quick Wash, BubbleWash and Vibration Reduction Technology (VRT). Quick Wash can shorten the wash cycle to as little as 15 minutes when washing up to 2kg of laundry. BubbleWash generates foam by pre-mixing detergent with air and water to create bubbles, before entering the drum. VRT is engineered to minimise vibration and help keep the noise level down.
