On Thursday evening, Winning Appliances was host to 240 key executives from its suppliers for the official opening of the Fortitude Valley showroom in Brisbane, QLD.

In his address, Winning Group CEO, John Winning said, “Thank you for sharing in this special moment tonight. It means so much to me, my family and the QLD team. It feels like not so long ago that we were driving around with our real estate agent for what was going to be our first foray outside of NSW and up into QLD.
“We had a really good feeling about the opportunity here and knew we had something quite unique to offer. Our QLD customers love our service as much as we love serving them. We are extremely proud of what we have achieved over the past 18 months and I would like to thank all of the team. It hasn’t been the easiest transition trying to open a showroom and operate under a construction site.
“I am an absolute fan of all of our showrooms but I think this is really something special and something different. We have a full working kitchen and all of the brands that we love selling. I really do think that this is second to none. We look forward to future QLD showrooms in the short term. We are really excited to serve QLD customers into the future for many years to come. We are 111 years old and have many years ahead of us, and like NSW, we want to grow to become a significant piece of kitchen and home design in QLD.”

I believe this showroom is unique in Australia and in fact, I haven’t seen anything on this level at a global scale that allows our partners, our suppliers, to showcase their cutting-edge technologies with such style. These showrooms don’t just pop out of the ground so I would also like to thank the Winning Appliances team.”
Guests were treated to an array of canapes consisting of salmon and Avruga caviar waffles, confit duck tacos, chocolate chilli bullions, liquid nitrogen truffle and Jerusalem artichoke ice cream, rum canelles, macaroon ice cream sandwiches, pacific oysters, southern rock lobster, ocean poached prawn and scampi, foie gras magnums, pho caviar and venison on a cocoa and sesame crisp.
