To families in need.

This August, Oral-B is partnering with Foodbank to donate 20,000 dental health kits to Australian families in need, during Dental Health Month.

Oral-B is urging Australians to fight tooth decay and practice better oral hygiene for a healthier, happier smile. Tooth decay is the number one most prevalent health problem in Australia, with 9 out of 10 adults experiencing tooth decay in their lifetime.

During the month of August 2017, for every Oral-B product sold at Woolworths, Oral-B will make a donation to Foodbank – a non-profit organisation which acts as a pantry to the charities and community groups who serve the Australian welfare sector. The initiative will enable Foodbank to deliver an estimated 20,000 dental health kits to Australian families in need, containing Oral-B toothbrushes and toothpaste, as well as educational material around good dental hygiene.

The ‘Share a Smile’ packs will be distributed during August to vulnerable families in indigenous communities and rural areas where access to good oral healthcare is limited and dental hygiene is poor. The Dental Health Month initiative will provide all Australian families the opportunity to improve their oral health with the aid of quality products for their teeth and gums.
