The Croften Chef’s Collection 6L stainless steel pressure cooker (50073) supplied by H&H Asia Ltd has been recalled. In some cases, the lid locking mechanism may be defective causing the lid to detach when cooking. If this happens, there is risk of scalding the user.
The affected product can be identified by the year embossed on the base plate 2017. Other pressure cooker models are not affected by this recall.
The pressure cooker was sold in Aldi stores from June 28 to July 21, 2017. Consumers should stop using the product and return it back to their nearest Aldi store for a full refund.
