Pioneer of DIY security.

Swann, the world’s largest manufacturer of DIY video surveillance equipment has just celebrated its 30th anniversary. The company, which was originally set up in the basement of David Swann’s family home in Melbourne, now has offices in the US, UK, Canada, Hong Kong and China. It has also expanded its presence to over 40 countries.

“Swan pioneered the DIY security category and has seen at least 10% growth year-on-year for the past 10 years,” vice president –global marketing, Jeremy Stewart said. “In the next two years, we will continue to focus on product innovation and drive a higher level of product design.” He said resolutions previously only seen in the professional market are now filtering down into the DIY security space, along with storage improvements and software enhancements. All Swann products are backed by lifetime support and free 24/7 customer service.

Swann is now part of the Infinova Group, following the retirement of the Swann family in 2014.
