Kogan launches Australia’s most affordable smart TVs

Three models under $1,000.

The new range of Kogan Agora Smart 4K LED TVs sets a new price benchmark for Smart TVs in Australia. To mark the launch, all three models of the new range are available with even further presale discounts.

The Kogan 49 inch Agora Smart 4K LED TV is built with a Samsung panel with a 3840 x 2160 (4K) resolution and is available for $429. The Kogan 55 inch Agora Smart 4K LED TV boasts a 120Hz screen refresh rate, perfect for fast motion sports and films and is available for $499. The Kogan 65 inch Agora Smart 4K LED TV is also built with a Samsung panel that displays images at Ultra HD 4K resolution and is available for $899.

All TVs feature internet access and a personal video recorder for users to record shows straight onto a USB or hard drive.

Kogan.com founder and CEO, Ruslan Kogan commented, “For over a decade we have been committed to making the latest technology more affordable. In 2007, this meant a 46 inch dumb thick LCD TV for $2,999 which was the first time the $3,000 barrier was broken for such a TV. Today, we are launching a bigger, better, thinner Smart LED TV for $429. It’s a true sign of how far we’ve come and we’re honoured to be able to delight our customer base of over a million Aussies in this way.”
