Bosch unveiled its first robotic vacuum the Roxxter and cordless Sprinter, at its Technology Innovation Forum in Barcelona. Bosch claims the Roxxter is the first robotic cleaner to incorporate Amazon’s Echo’s Alexa voice assistant. The HomeConnect app allows users to schedule and select specific rooms while the optimised shape gives access hard to those hard to reach areas such as corners and furniture edges.
The Sprinter is claimed to offer 50 minutes of cleaning time before recharging which Bosch said gives the cordless the longest battery run time in the industry. It also features a removable and rechargeable battery system. Both appliances will be on show at IFA Berlin in September.
