With greater flexibility and choice.

Crowd-sourced delivery company Go People has expanded its services with GoShift that allows businesses to hire shift based dedicated drivers when needed. As well as streamlining delivery and keeping costs down, the new service offers retailers value in an ever-competitive market, chief executive, Wayne Wang said.

“It allows assigned couriers to make 10-20 deliveries affordably within a three-hour shift,” he said. “The service is ideal for businesses looking to compete with large-scale retailers like Amazon, who dominate the market, while minimising the costs associated with managing their own delivery services.”

Wang earlier identified that the delivery industry had many issues to be addressed, including the expense of sending packages, poor tracking capabilities and scalability options for small businesses.  He developed what he described as an “advanced routing algorithm to ensure deliveries arrive on time and are fully trackable”.

GoShift services start at $28/hour with rates from $5 a delivery, Wang said.
