The chairman’s five year plan.

Seeley International chairman Frank Seeley will donate $1,000 a month to the Cure4CF (cystic fibrosis) charity initiative for the next five years. Seeley has become the first member of an Ambassador Circle supporting the cause and is set to be joined by 20 other corporate members.

In a statement to Appliance Retailer, Seeley said he felt “compelled” to lead by example.

“Since the very first day in business, the company has understood the importance of giving back to the community. Being part of the Ambassador Circle is a wonderful way to partner with a South Australian charity that is making a permanent difference on a global scale, and my challenge to other Australian CEOs and chairmen is to also become an ambassador and help make a difference.

“Innovation and achieving the impossible is part of Seeley International’s DNA and that aligns perfectly with the research underway in Adelaide on how to cure cystic fibrosis. However, a lack of funding is preventing researchers from being able to confirm research through clinical trials,” Seeley explained.

In addition to the support of Cure4CF, Seeley International is also the major national partner for Variety Bash motoring events across Australia in support of an organisation that empowers Australian children who are sick, disadvantaged or who have special needs.

“Our Annual Braemar Scotch Auction has raised more than $1.4 million for charities around the world since 2001. This has become an integral part of our Annual Seeley International Dealer Event and we are grateful to our Dealer Community for supporting this unique fundraising opportunity,” he concluded.
