Another leap in floorcare technology.

Dyson’s latest barrel vacuum has been reformatted to right itself when it topples over. And that’s not all, because getting rid of dirt can be a messy business Dyson has designed an ingenious dirt ejector comprising a silicone collar that slides down the bin, scraping off trapped debris, for easy, more hygienic emptying from a bin that is one-third bigger than previous models.

The Dyson Cinetic Big Ball range is being supported with a wide-ranging media campaign that starts on April 21 with DPS print advertising in most major lifestyle and home titles. A Free-to-Air and Pay TV campaign runs for three weeks in July followed by another burst in September.

This third generation in Dyson ball technology is the first full-sized Dyson vacuum in three years, since the launch of the DC54 in 2013. Other refinements include a longer wand that extends to 1250mm, an articulated handle that rotates in three directions for more versatile and easier cleaning, a compact footprint for convenient storage and no filters to wash or buy.

The tool box covers all cleaning jobs and includes a carbine fibre turbine floor tool, a dual mode tool with suction control and a mini tangle-free turbine tool. The catch to release the tool is now located on the tool for easier one-handed removal.

There are five machines in the range including multi floor, animal and allergy models, priced from RRP $699 for the Multi Floor to RRP $999 for an Animal Pro.
