Sennheiser has secured a premium branding position within the exclusive Qantas lounge at Sydney’s Domestic Terminal. The brand is believed to have invested $100,000 for the display as well as advertising in the Qantas magazine, in a campaign that started on July 13.
The Sennheiser display showcases the brand’s headphones range including the Momentum 2.0 Around Ear, Momentum 2.0 On-Ear, the latest Momentum 2.0 Wireless with Hybrid Active NoiseGard and the PXC 450’s.
With the support of Sennheiser’s airport retail partners, Voyage and Tech2Go, the first sale of the Momentum 2.0 Wireless was made within the first hour of the stand being opened.
Sennheiser Australia brand and content manager, Martin Ireland explained that the stand is in “prime position for all lounge guests to view the detail and finish of the headphones displayed.”
Lounge guests have the opportunity to try the headphones with their own devices to experience Sennheiser’s NoiseGard™ technology. The company’s signature NoiseGard™ technology is perfect for travellers as it cancels a wider band of frequencies of outside noise with the use of four microphones rather than the industry standard of two microphones.
Sennheiser will be displaying its headphones range at the Qantas lounge until August 9 2015.
