Experienced digital native now running LG’s eStrategy

LG Electronics Australia has appointed a new Head of Digital to handle marketing, search engine optimisation and marketing, website strategy, digital media buys, ecommerce and social media.

Nick Ellery is the new man at the keyboard and he has plenty of experience, having worked at Microsoft, Red Bull and Pharmacare in a range of community management and digital strategy roles.

Ellery will report to general manager of marketing Lambro Skropidis, who told me that he will be an integral part of a burgeoning team.

“Every year digital is more and more a part of our business and we have very high aspirations for our digital footprint in 2015,” he said. “The year has kicked off brilliantly on the digital front and Nick’s experience will add some serious clout to keep moving in the right direction.”
