The entries for the 2015 Good Design Awards have been revealed and once again the appliance industry has proved to be a big supporter of the Australian competition.
A number of brands have entered multiple products in the Domestic Appliance category, including De’Longhi with six, four for Philips and three apiece for Braun, Kenwood and Breville. Entering each of its Masterpiece Collection as separate entries Electrolux has eight entries and Appliance Retailer’s Editor’s Pick for Best Appliance of 2014, the Zip HydroTap is also in the running.
All the entries will be looking to take the crown from the reigning champ Dyson, which has three products entered in this year’s awards.

Judging will take place on 13 to 16 April 2015 and the Good Design finalists will be announced on 20 April. The winners will be recognised at the Good Design Awards presentation ceremony on 28 May 2015.
