Dacor Discovery IQ

Dacor is a family owned luxury appliance manufacturer based in California. Today, the company showcased its new range of Android cookers, which will initially be available in 90-centimetre and 120-centimetre configurations. With four gas burners, a hotplate grill and a convection oven, the cooker is an all-in-one dual fuel powerhouse running the Android operating system and controlled via a touchscreen interface.

The 90-centimetre model is expected to sell for around US $8,999 while the larger model is priced at around US $12,199. The OS is packed with built-in recipes with step by step instructions and users can add their own. Firmware updates mean these programs always stay up to date. Once connected to the home’s Wi-Fi network, the user can control this premium cooker via their Android or iOS device.
