The 2014 Hong Kong Electronics Fair (northern Autumn) edition wrapped up today and it was deemed another successful meeting of manufacturers, sourcing agents, suppliers and retailers.
Just over 4,100 exhibitors from 24 countries showcased their wares to visitors from countries all over the world, with wearable tech, smartwatches and bands and personal audio the most on-trend categories.
Here is a selection of some of the more interesting technology products on display:
The FitUp out of Global Marketing Insights is water-resistant activity-tracking smartband with an OLED screen.
Ergotech’s Smart Watch is compatible with iPhones and Android smartphones and has a colour E-ink screen to preserve the battery.
The Pet Tracker by Tracker Technology means iOS and Android users can keep track of their beloved cat or dog, provided you can get the animal to wear it!
Airwave Technologies has created this Personal Wi-Fi Multimedia Viewer to immerse users in content being streamed from their compatible device, including most smartphones, tablets and PCs.
The ROBOX 3D printer by CEL Technology has a proprietary dual-nozzle system for high speed printing.
Lock you smartphone inside this Waterproof Speaker Box by CP Industries and you can take your tunes with you to the beach, snow and desert.
And the derivative product on show in Hong Kong this week is the Capsule Bluetooth Multimedia Speaker from Sunking. If you think this looks like four Beats Pills belted together than we have something in common!
