The new high performance range of food preparation appliances from Electrolux will make for an intriguing in-store display, but just don’t try to line them up straight.
Electrolux is continuing a push into the premium small appliance market with a new range, the Masterpiece Collection. Launching this month it includes a Blender (EBR9804S, RRP $399), Food Processor (EFP9804S, RRP $599) and Immersion Blender (ESTM9804S, RRP $199).
The most distinguishing feature of the range is the 15 degree tilt, dubbed PowerTilt technology. After years of research Electrolux says this is the perfect angle to intensify blending by increasing the rate that ingredients combine.
For the blender, Electrolux said: “The PowerTilt feature uses the forces of gravity to move the contents inside the Masterpiece Collection Blender around the jug and then fall back down directly on the blades, creating a much faster way to blend.”
This same technology is used in the Electrolux commercial range of appliances, which has been made available in domestic appliances for the first time.
“We have designed this range especially for consumers to have the ability to create their own original masterpieces in the kitchen,” said Marine Pestel, product manager, Electrolux.
“The state-of-the-art range has unique, tested technology and will help consumers to create results that match restaurant-level ambitions with maximum cooking efficiency.”
The EM6 blender blade system features three different types of titanium-coated stainless steel blades to blend more efficiently and effectively, and the Tritan jug is shatter proof and scratch resistant.
The heavy-duty food processor has an adjustable slicing disc with 28 settings from 0.15 to 0.75 centimetres. The extra wide dual sized feeding chute can be used up to 15 centimetres wide or made smaller for use with a measuring cup. It has titanium-coated stainless steel blades and a powerful induction motor.
The Masterpiece Collection Immersion Blender is the most robust and powerful stick mixer made by Electrolux. It comes with a dishwasher safe stand which can be used throughout the cooking process and save dirtying the bench. It has an extra long stainless steel mixing bar to reach deep pots and pans and 700 watt variable speed motor. It comes with accessories and has a soft start feature that allows the power level to build gradually.
