Kambrook is gearing up for the Christmas rush with the launch of a range of new products in the benchtop appliance space, including a category first for the brand.

Unveiled in Sydney yesterday, the Kambrook Christmas line-up covers food preparation, cooking appliances and garment care, and sees the return of the brand’s popular novelty line-up, the Little Chefs range. Included in this range are the Little Chefs Cake Pop Maker, Waffle Maker, Cupcake Maker, Popcorn Maker, Milkshake Maker, Ice Shaver, Ice Cream Maker and Mini-Burger Maker, with all appliances priced at RRP $34.95.

With shows such as The Great Australian Bake Off and MasterChef Australia continuing to net hundreds of thousands of viewers on prime-time television, Kambrook is also launching into the lucrative bench mixer category for the first time this year.

Set to be a strong competitor in the bench mixer space according to Kambrook’s business manager Adam Tacey, the PowerMix Planetary Bench Mixer (KSM500, RRP $179) features a 600-watt motor, 3.5-litre brushed stainless steel bowl, 6 speed settings and leaf beater, dough hook, whisk and splash guard attachments.

After entering the steam station category last year, Kambrook has also expanded its garment care offering with the pre-Christmas launch of the Swift Steam Garment Steamer (KSS20, RRP $49.95).

Designed as a more portable steaming option for quickly un-creasing garments, the 1,000-watt unit features a 200-millilitre water reservoir and a removable fabric brush for delicates. Although the smaller water reservoir doesn’t make it as suited to batch ironing as a larger steam station or steam generator, it is certainly more portable and the unit is required to heat less water to reach continuous steaming power. At the sub-$100 price point, it is also likely to be more of an impulse purchase for Christmas shoppers that are after a quick fix for creased business shirts or silk dresses.

Finally, in the benchtop blending space, the brand has launched the Blitz2Go Personal Blender (KBL20, RRP $49.95) which allows users to blend inside a BPA-free plastic bottle before twisting off the blade attachment and replacing it with a screw on lid for drinking.

At the launch yesterday, the product was accompanied by a range of point-of-sale that is set to roll into retailers to support the product, emphasising the “one the go” messaging behind the product.
