After designing a camera for Pentax and a range of cooktops and ovens for Smeg, Australian-born designer Marc Newson has branched out into other fittings for the home renovator market with a range of tapware and bathroom products for Caroma.

The Caroma Marc Newson collection features the designer’s signature minimalist aesthetics and bright colours, with flashes of orange, white and black appearing the range. There will be 22 products across the line-up, including taps, basins, shower fittings, toilets and baths.
According to Caroma, the new range is set to be available in March or April, with local retail distribution yet to be announced.
Although details are yet to be confirmed, E&S Trading has already announced that it will be stocking the line-up of products in its showrooms. With the Victorian retailer jumping on the Newson bandwagon, it may be a sign that other retailers will soon follow suit.
