Super Bowl XLVII (47) is not only the premier NFL event for 2013, it's also the single biggest advertising cornucopia of the year. Avertisers have paid a reported US $4 million for a 30-second slot during the match, which is being played between the Baltimore Ravens and the San Francisco 49ers in New Orleans. While most of the ads are for FMCG and fast food brands, there are several technology industry ads to amuse us:

BestBuy

The Harvey Norman of the States, BestBuy used Parks and Recreation star (and Mrs Will Arnett) Amy Poehler in its ad, which emphasises BestBuy's expert staff.

BlackBerry 10

BlackBerry made sure to incorporate new Global Creative Director Alicia Keys into its ad, which is mostly incomprehensible.

Samsung

Paul Rudd and Seth Rogan are normally brilliant but this Samsung short film/commerical can't even be saved by a late appearance by LeBron James.

SodaStream

The best of the lot of this ad for SodaStream, which was reportedly rejected by broadcaster CBS for fear it would upset major sponsors Coca-Cola and Pepsi.
