Kambrook is preparing for a strong year in the small domestic appliances category with the appointment of a new national account manager, responsible for engaging with the brand's retail partners across Australia.

Kylie McKinnon joined Kambrook following six years at its parent company, Breville, where she worked most recently as the category manager for food preparation.

As the brand prepares to roll out its new range of Mother’s Day appliances—which includes new food prep and cooking products—McKinnon said she was glad to take on a role dedicated to assisting Kambrook’s customers during a strong growth period.

“I’m actively meeting regularly with customers and making myself available, particularly now as we introduce our comprehensive Mother’s Day line-up,” she said.

“Kambrook is now the fourth largest kitchen small appliance brand with strength in cooking and a growing quality offering in food preparation. With number one volume positions across multiple product categories, including blenders and kettles, I can see the sales potential that a locally engineered, entry level, national brand can achieve.”

Speaking about McKinnon’s appointment, Kambrook’s marketing manager, Adam Tacey, was positive about her contribution to the brand’s management team.

“Kylie’s product knowledge and category management experience is very valuable for the sales function of our brand,” he said. “We know that retailers appreciate the additional support that a dedicated account manager can provide.”
