This week, Shriro Australia confirmed that it would be dropping the distribution of high-end cooking brand De Dietrich and selling off remaining stock at drastically reduced prices in a GraysOnline firesale.

It was sad news for retailers who enjoyed selling the product, but good news for consumers looking to save $3,000 (yes, 3-0-0-0) off the price of a canopy rangehood or induction wok burner.

This frenzied selling reminded UnderCurrent of a similar fire sale held in August for three Retravision Southern stores that had been placed into administration.

Initially, the sale was scheduled to go for one week, but returning to the GraysOnline Retravision page, it seems the bargains are still running out the door. And with less coverage from online news sites (until now) many of the auction prices are still low.

If you’re keen to pick up a notebook for $39, a Sunbeam coffee machine for $79, or any number of digital products or small appliances, then there are good prices on lots of products.

But from the looks of one item, Grays Online may be attempting to sell everything that isn't bolted down.

UnderCurrent is not sure if the box is included…
