Sony has announced the return of its successful Wharf4Ward charity event in Sydney this year, with the brand set to take over Woolloomooloo Wharf on 25 October to raise funds for youth cancer.

Sony will pack out a number of restaurants – including Otto Ristorante, ChinaDoll and Kingsleys Steak & Crabhouse – to play host to Sydney’s movers and shakers for the afternoon’s event. All funds raised on the day will go to the Sony Foundation’s You Can campaign which provides support to young Australians living with cancer, including building specialised youth cancer centres.

Last year’s event brought together the likes of Sony recording artists Natalie Bassingthwaite, Tim Friedman and Guy Sebastian as well as the stars of X Factor to perform for the crowd, with more than half a million dollars raised for charity.

At this year’s Wharf4Ward – the fourth time Sony has put on the event – guests can expect a similar star-studded line-up. For more details, head to the Sony Foundation website.

In the meantime, here's a short video spruiking the event.
