It's a big weekend for companies investing in sports sponsorships! After spending hundreds of thousands of dollars to support football teams, these are the days and nights you look forward to: high rating semifinal action shown live around the country in prime time.

Tonight, the Kaspersky Manly Sea-Eagles take on the North Queensland Cowboys, which are co-sponsored by Harvey Norman. Then, tomorrow, it's the big one: the co-sponsored De'Longhi and Kenwood South Sydney Rabbitohs up against the Huawei Canberra Raiders.

The AFL isn't at dominate by electronics sponsorship as the NRL is – the closest thing to a tech sponsor of the Adelaide Crows is TeleChoice. The Crows are playing Fremantle in their semifinal – Freo is sponsored by Ricoh (remember them?).

In a double whammy for Kaspersky, its Collingwood Magpies are battling it out in a bird fight with the West Coast Eagles, which are also sponsored by TeleChoice.

Meanwhile, despite Dick Smith being on the chopping block, Woolworths has reached into its pockets to fund the newly minted Dick Smith Sandown 500, a V8 Supercar race held in Victoria. Watch out for the TEAC and Fujitsu General cars zooming around this weekend.
