Arisit Australia has begun importing and selling the Alfa brand of al fresco appliances under a pro forma, or chartered agency, business model. Arisit is best known as the distributor of Ariston, which has been the major appliance sponsor of the last two seasons of MasterChef Australia.

The Alfa brand will sit in the newly created Lifestyle and Leisure Division of Arisit Australia, which is based in Melbourne, Victoria.

The first releases from this brand are two outdoor pizza ovens. According to Arisit, these are premium al fresco units manufactured in Italy and will be the first in a new line of products available to agents.

The more expensive of the two models is the 4-Pizze in Hammered Black for RRP $5,499, while there’s also the 5-Minuti in Red & Black, which is available with or without legs from RRP $3,599. Both of these RRPs include delivery and assembly in metropolitan areas.

“We are investing a lot of resource into developing al fresco products as we see a great opportunity for our traditional retail partners who want to add some more value to their business and take advantage of this true growth area in the market,” said Arisit Australia managing director Simon Taylor in a statement. “In reality, al fresco is an extension of the inside kitchen and living area.”

“The Alfa Outdoor Oven is just the first in a long line of products to support this category including Outdoor Kitchens, Smart BBQ range, outdoor heating and refrigeration. The Smart BBQ range to be released this month is the first pro forma chartered agent structure in the Australian BBQ market.”

According to this statement, Arisit is currently appointing authorised sales agents throughout Australia.
