Shriro Australia, owner of the Omega, Omega Altise, Blanco and De Dietrich brands, has announced the appointment of Prime Industries as the new sales agent for its Home Appliances division in the ACT and western and southern areas of NSW.

The Canberra-based Prime Industries is the existing agent for the Omega brand in the ACT and south-eastern NSW. According to Gavan McKenna, general manager of home appliances at Shriro Australia, it was this successful relationship that led the company to expand the partnership to serve other brands in other locations.

“From 1 March 2012, Prime Industries will represent the Omega, Blanco and De Dietrich brands across the ACT, South and Western NSW, and some areas of Northern Victoria, in both the retail and commercial markets,” said McKenna.

“There are a number of reasons behind extending this relationship, but the primary one is to improve the level of representation that we provide to customers of all of our appliances brands across Regional NSW and Victoria.

“A further benefit is the establishment of a first class showroom for the Omega, Blanco and De Dietrich product ranges in the Canberra area, which will be fully operational in the coming months.

“Over the next six weeks all accounts in these areas will be contacted by the Prime Industries team to confirm representation details.

“On behalf of Shriro Australia, we thank Prime for their commitment to our brands, and we look forward to this continuing even more strongly into the future.”
