SYDNEY, NSW: Whirlpool is catering to the increasing trend towards apartment living with its new range of space conscious refrigerators which will join the existing 200-litre to 299-litre range introduced this summer.

The compact appliances have been designed to fit into Whirlpool’s ‘Space Matters’ campaign, targeted at people living in apartments. They feature a multi-flow cooling system, an adaptive defrost energy saver programme, two adjustable glass shelves and three removable buckets in the side door, humidity control, and  odour neutralisers.

“For people looking for a space-conscious solution, this sleekly designed fridge will be all you need, tucked way out of view, leaving you with more room to move in the kitchen,” said Whirlpool’s senior brand manager for refrigeration, Sonia Lancaster in a statement.

“With constantly evolving design elements that are aesthetically pleasing on the outside and boast functionality on the inside, our latest range of top mount refrigerators offer consumers an innovative food storage solution.”

The top mount refrigerators include a 240-litre model with a Sovereign finish (WR124XN, RRP $719) and three 270-litre models in White (WR127XW, RRP $679), Satina (WR127XG, RRP $729) or Sovereign (WR127XN, RRP $749).
