SYDNEY, NSW: Emilia Glem has launched its second generation of Matrix Cookers. Whilst not as hotly anticipated as the second generation of iPads, these new ovens will heat up food for delicious consumption.

There are four new models in the Matrix 2 range, with the key differentiator being size. There’s a traditional 60-centimetre model, plus the less prominent 70- and 80-centimetre sizes, and then the big 90-centimetre unit for cooks who like a formidable oven presence in their kitchen.

“Matrix cookers are selling well in Australia thanks to our reputation in gas cooking matched with a great price point.  We have enhanced this second generation of Matrix cookers to improve energy efficiency, ergonomics and overall aesthetics,” said Glem Gas GM David Gilmore.

The four key features of the Matrix 2 range, according to Gilmore, are triple glass doors, stainless steel oven door handles, newly designed gas burners and the new knob and collar design.

The 60-, 80- and 90-centimetre models are all available as either gas or electric ovens, whilst the 70-centimetre model is a ‘Bi Energyselect’ oven.

Here are the model numbers and RRPs:
