SYDNEY, NSW: Showcasing kitchen appliances in ways that allow consumers to interact directly with the products is a popular marketing tool that suppliers are making good use of. The “Forever Better” company displays its green side at The Rocks, Sydney.

The Greenhouse by Joost is a pop up design installation cafe that sets about showcasing sustainable living and Miele has jumped on board as the exclusive appliance supplier. It is open daily to the public until 31 March 2011 at Campbells Cove, The Rocks.

Miele is fortunate in that it is able to demonstrate a cross section of its product line up including cooktops, grills, woks, rangehoods, refrigerators, freezers, dishwashers, a washing machine and a heat pump drier.

Sustainability is a key part of the company philosophy, according to Miele, who says this awareness influences product design and development.
