SYDNEY, NSW: MSI has appointed Synnex to distribute the full range of MSI products in Australia, including netbooks, notebooks, graphics cards, motherboards and multimedia products. Earlier this month Laser also announced Synnex as the sole distributor for its entire range.

The new agreement between MSI and Synnex commenced earlier this month and covers small and medium businesses and national retailers.

MSI Australia managing director, Jerry Hsu, said the appointment recognises Australia as a key market for MSI.

“We’re pleased to appoint Synnex as our distributor in Australia.  The company has established networks and relationships with many of the key channel partners and retailers nationally in Australia.  We look forward to working with Synnex to launch MSI in Australia and grow the company’s presence and reach significantly,” said Hsu.

Synnex Australia CEO Kee Ong said the distributor was thrilled to offer their customers a broader range of tech products.

“We’re excited to be working with MSI and helping the company launch its products into a new market. With MSI in our portfolio, Synnex will be able to offer our customers an even greater range of products.  MSI will also be able to leverage our national network and industry expertise,” he said.
