SYDNEY, NSW: From Sunbeam to Click Clack and now to Breville, the new general manager of global distribution has arrived with over 30 years of experience in hand.

Craig Dais will also overseas business development for the iconic Australian brand, which is designed and distributed in over 30 countries.

According to Breville CEO Stephen Audsley there is substantial scope for Breville’s expansion into international terrain.

“Demand for Breville’s premium quality products in international markets represents the biggest growth opportunity for our business. Craig’s extensive knowledge and experience in the small appliance industry will be invaluable as we build that part of our business.”

As of 15 February 2011, Dais will be responsible for Asia, the Middle East, Europe, South America and Africa where he will focus on growing both the Breville and OEM business.

Meanwhile, Breville is also on the hunt for two new senior industrial designers capable of what it describes as creating “premium appliances for the home chef".
