SYDNEY, NSW: A consumer satisfaction survey conducted during the summer DIY period has rated Bosch corded drills with a top score for performance, while Japanese contender Makita took the overall satisfaction category.

The survey rated four major corded drill makers including, Ryobi and Ozito, which are found in home improvement stores such as Bunnings, to determine consumer satisfaction for price, warranty, noise, reliability, accessories, performance and weight.

Bosch scored highly for accessories, performance and weight, however, attained a comparatively low score for price.

The Canstar Blue survey also noted that while woman are buying drills, they are not always the one using them as many woman surveyed said that they passed the drill on to a different person in the household to use.
