Major changes in Nokia sales team

SYDNEY, NSW: Neil Gordon replaces Chris Carr as vice president of sales for Southeast Asia Pacific. Carr has been appointed as the new general manager for Australia and New Zealand and will be moving back to Australia to pursue the promotion.

Gordon will be responsible for Nokia’s strategic direction, implementation and overall business performance for the region, according to Nokia.

“Neil has a wealth of Nokia experience in many markets including Asia, Middle East, Africa and Europe with his previous role as head of sales operations based in Finland,” said Colin Giles, Nokia’s senior vice president and head of global sales.

“He is highly recognised for his sales and financial acumen and drive for results. Neil has now moved to Singapore to lead the SEAP sales unit with this new appointment.”

“I am looking forward to returning to Asia, albeit in a different role to lead the sales team in the region.
