SYDNEY, NSW: We are now into Christmas week itself! Whilst Bruno Mars celebrates locking down the #1 Christmas single with ‘Grenade’, we continue our look at the 12 Gadgets of Christmas 2010. Today we examine the Samsung NaviBot vacuum. In honour of Samsung’s Korean roots, today’s poem is the Sijo, the most famous and historically significant form of Korean poetry.

Samsung NaviBot – A Sijo Review

In the empty room a machine stirs. Sensors guide its path.
Dust disappears but the furniture is unharmed, untouched.
And then the robot returns to dock, to await isolation.
