MELBOURNE, VIC: Price erosion has been the 2010 bugbear of retailers and suppliers, but Miele is once again setting fantastic new benchmarks when it comes to premium pricing. The latest addition to its RRP smashing (in the right way) range is a new $16,000 freezer.
Part of the Mastercool range of refrigeration products, the brand new F 1811 Vi Freezer (RRP $15,999) is a 75-centimetre freezer only cooler with a gross volume of 495 litres. This figure includes the internal icemaker.
Features of the F 1811 include Miele’s BrilliantLight system, in which halogen lights are used to fully illuminate the cavity; Drop&Lock shelf adjustment; telescopic storage draws and TouchControls.
This last feature is Miele’s LED control system for keeping conditions ideal with the cabinet.
“Crafted using only the highest-grade materials and cutting-edge cooling technology, this first-class large capacity freezer presents elegant, European design combined with the American concept of larger capacity and user convenience,” said a Miele spokesperson.
The new Miele F 1811 Vi (RRP $15,999).
