MELBOURNE, VIC: An exclusive Roger Federer Edition Jura coffee machine has been revealed this week, Jura announcing that it will be sold exclusively through Harvey Norman in Melbourne. Only 30 machines of the 300 distributed worldwide will make it to Australia in time for the Australian Open in January.

George Liakatos, Jura national retail manager, explained the original concept behind the luxury coffee maker this week in Melbourne.

“In 2009, Jura had the pleasure of presenting Roger Federer and his new wife Mirka with a very special wedding present: a custom-made automatic speciality coffee machine with leather side panels and a chrome-plated coffee spout,” said Liakatos to an audience of Harvey Norman franchisees.

“The exclusive Roger Federer Edition is the same as this model and enables 300 fans to own the same Jura machine.

“The ENA 9 One Touch, the slimmest coffee machine in the Jura range, serves as the basis. At just 23.8 centimetres wide, it will comfortably fit anywhere. High-quality leather is used to finish the side panels. A special highlight is the official Roger Federer logo embossed on the machine, the use of which was kindly authorised by equipment partner Nike for 300 limited edition machines.

“Australia has been fortunate enough to secure 30 of these limited edition machines and they will be sold exclusively through our retail partner Harvey Norman. They will be available during the Australian Open from 5 key retail locations throughout Melbourne at RRP $1,990."
