SYDNEY, NSW: Laser Corporation today released two new Navig8r GPS devices. Aimed at the entry-to-mid section of the market, these two devices are being targeted at commercial drivers and those who lease commercial vehicles, such as trucks and utes.

The flagship release is the P50 (RRP $249). This model, which has a 5-inch screen, features safety camera alerts, text to speech, lane guidance, green routing, an FM transmitter, trip data logs and Bluetooth connectivity. The map data is provided by Navteq. Map features include points of interest (including the ability to mark your own), 3D landmarks, school zones and tunnel mode.

Also new to the range is the P43 (RRP $179). This unit’s screen is only 4.3 inches. It does not feature Bluetooth, an FM transmitter or what is known as Ultimate 3D.
