SYDNEY, NSW: Canon Australia has announced two key changes to its sales and marketing leadership team, which it describes as positioning the camera and printer specialist for “aggressive growth”.

Integral to this change is the creation of two new groups within the existent Marketing, Sales and Service division. These are Canon Business Imaging (CBI) and Canon Consumer Imaging (CCI).

Formerly Canon’s senior general manager – marketing, Crain Manson is now the director of CBI, and is responsible for all production print and office print sales and marketing.

Jason McLean, who was the senior general manager of indirect sales is now the director of CCI. He is now in charge of all consumer product sales and marketing activities.

“We’ve made some brave changes to the business over the past 18 months and achieved some amazing results in challenging economic conditions,” said Canon COO and deputy MD Allan Corder.

“Today’s changes will see Canon continue its journey of becoming more customer focused, ensure that customers have greater access to Canon and that Canon is well positioned to continue to achieve its aggressive growth targets.”
