SYDNEY, NSW: Whipping up a banana smoothie this summer and mixing drinks on the deck has been made a little easier by Braun who has released its first cordless hand blender.

The Multiquick 7–730cc Cordless uses lithium batteries for the longest possible running time, claims to allow approximately 10 uses per full charge and has an LED display that shows battery status.

Susan Perry, Braun assistant brand manager, said the Multiquick Cordless was a great addition to the Braun hand held portfolio.

“The Braun Multiquick Cordless, whilst providing consumers with the ultimate user-friendly device for all their food preparation needs, also offers the reliability and power to cover most kitchen duties with ease,” said Perry.

“The versatility of the new Braun Multiquick Cordless also extends to the actual use of the product, with users requiring only one hand to work the double safety switch, whereas many of other competitors require both hands to use a cordless model.”

Through the Christmas period Braun will offer a $20 cash back promotion for its premium hand blender range for customers who purchase a product from the Multiquick 7 and 5 range from 1 November 2010 to 22 January 2011.

The new Multiquick 7 – 730cc is RRP $249
