SYDNEY, NSW: Breville has released a new mixing attachment for making frozen treats. The new bowl and paddle combination works with three existing Breville mixers to create ice cream, gelato and sorbet.

The Breville Freeze & Mix (BIA500, RRP $99) is being released for the summer Christmas season. Brand director David Gubbin said consumer interest in this new addition has been noticeable.

“Consumer interest in the Freeze & Mix has been very exciting,” he said. “We have had a lot of enquiry through the website around the product’s launch.”

Gubbin said the advantage of making your own frozen desserts is that you can control the amount of ingredients you use to moderate taste and relative healthiness.

The attachment works with the previously released BEM800 (RRP $549), BEM410 (RRP $329) and BEM400 (RRP $329) mixers.
